Control Wizard Products' Convertible Reflector with pebbletone insert.No Glass, Socket or air adapters. Control Wizard Products has manufactured the first truly convertible lamp reflector. Control Wizard Products' lightweight Convertible Reflector will not burn out light movers like heavy steel reflectors do. Lightweight high quality painted aluminum is used to help insure that all brands and models of light movers will give years of faithful service. The reflector can be air cooled with either 4-inch or 6-inch air ducting by simply removing the appropriate end plates and install the selected air duct adapters. One or two air ducts may be run through the reflector at any one time. There is no right or wrong way to use the air ducting adapters or position lamps. The reflector has been designed to work for all applications. Use your imagination. The basic reflector does not include ducting adapters. Once you determine your needs you may order ducting adapters. Ten bends in the reflector insure the grower that any brand of HID lamp will throw an even light pattern over the plants. Multiple lamps may be used in several different configurations. Purchase an extra lamp socket plate and horizontal socket assembly when adding another lamp. No screwdrivers are required to position air ducting adapters, louvered plates, socket assembly plates or block-out plates. A screwdriver is needed to remove or replace the glass retainer lock. Glass is not included unless it is ordered. The Tempered Glass Shield is needed for air-cooling or to reduce UV rays to cuttings. Also, the Tempered Glass Shield is highly recommended, as it will protect the consumer from burns caused by accidentally coming in contact with the hot lamp or spraying water on a hot lamp, causing it to implode. High wattage compact fluorescent mogul base lamps may be used if a 120-volt socket assembly and power cord is purchased for each lamp. Control Wizard Products recommends Sunmaster brand lamps for the best growing results. Before you install a Position Oriented Horizontal Metal Halide lamp (designed to burn in the horizontal position only) into your new Convertible reflector you must connect a horizontal positioned socket assembly to the hood. You can purchase one from Control Wizard Products to replace your old one, ask to have one included with your new reflector or ask to have one installed on your new lamp ballast. High Pressure Sodium lamps do not require a Position Oriented Socket however this manual will treat all HID lamps the same. Convertible reflectors outfitted with a glass shield will have to remove the glass shield to install the ceramic mogul socket and lamp. To do this you will need to detach the glass shield retainer from the reflector by removing its four screws and slide the glass shield carefully out of the reflector.
